ABOUT ETHAN GOODRICH

Ethan Goodrich is a photographer who explores the intersections of nature, history, and human experience. His practice centres on the natural environment, drawing viewers into serene landscapes and places with a sense of history. Through a documentary approach, he also develops projects that engage with themes of community, mental wellbeing, and the significance of landscape.

Photography Background:

Ethan Goodrich developed his practice through formal study, earning a First-Class BA (Hons) in Photography. He engages with the natural environment, critically examining the interconnections between human presence and the natural world. This line of inquiry subsequently broadened to encompass themes of mental wellbeing and the act of perception. His portfolio includes projects such as 'Reiterating Realities', which employs digital composites to critique the emergence of artificial intelligence and its impact on the perception of natural landscapes, as well as works that investigate the psychological benefits derived from human–nature relationships.
